6119 Representation of power relations in Amanuenses Language Focusing on “Dastur-al-katib fi Taåyin-al-maratib” Salehinia Maryam Rafiۥzadeh Sarwrasa 1 12 2013 6 24 31 62 21 01 2013 05 10 2013 Government correspondences and related works (books, letter-writing called Tarassol) ‬ are the most important historical documents. The accuracy of authors and amanuenses in representation of the status and the definition of the relations between social agents (public and governing apparatus), made these books function of the cultural and semantic system of its time. These texts draw consciously a kind of “unequal encounter”, so that they are suitable to study the elements of power representation in discourse. This study is based on the four discursive components‬: ‬nomination, transitivity system, function of different sentences models, and modality and provides insights into the power relations. The results show that the above mentioned factors have an efficient role in the discourse of Dastur-al-katib and indicate the reciprocal role of the author in representation of the power relations. Religion and “Sharia”, as two sources of power, buttress this reciprocal discourse and at the same time had led to the emergence of hegemony in the text. 5892 Rhetorical Function of Word Order in Tarikh-e Beyhaqi 1 12 2013 6 24 63 94 08 09 2013 11 12 2013 به زودی فرستاده خواهد شد. 11698 Meta textual and Archetypal Analysis of the Novel “Welcome to the Hades” Written by Belgheys Soleimani ghasemzadeh seyed ali g g وزارت علوم، تحقیقات و فناوری 1 12 2013 6 24 95 118 06 06 2013 24 10 2013 One of those fictional streams is the tendency of women writers towards independence in writing and their attempt for establishing a kind of feminine writing style. According to some of its claimers, this style would be acquired through reconsidering patriarchal narratives and attempt to form a protest-critical movement with an approach of rereading mythical narratives. The novel “Welcome to the Hades” written by Belgheys Soleimani is a mythical-critical novel, in which the author as a representative of women population, has tried to present a kind of mythical model. Through this model, she tries to illustrate the ignored stand of women in society by some mythical narrations. It seems as if, according to her, ignorance of the role of women in patriarchal narratives such as war narratives, corresponds to the ignorance of goddesses in myths. Since mythical novels, as a result of following the mythical model, are character-based, the research has tried to focus on the main character of the novel and her spiritual-psychic status through the events of plot, and has based its theoretical framework on a consolidated approach towards theories of Transtextuality by Gerard Genette and archetypal analysis by Pearson. The result shows that the writer, by integration of Iranian mythical narrations like Rostam & Sohrab and Rostam & Esfandiar, and focus on Greek myth “Persefone & Hades”, tries to protest against the patriarchal process of mythical narratives in eastern and western parts of the world, and as a result to show that human society is only rescued by deconstructing male/female contrast and also revival of women rights. Representation of Rodabe in archetypal character of “Orphan” and her conversion to unsuccessful “Terminator”, shows the structural congruence of text and character with the theme of protest in the novel. 1697 Jamalzadeh’s critical views about the Iranian fiction writers ghasemi maryam h h kashan univercity 1 12 2013 6 24 119 142 02 11 2012 08 12 2013 Writing, along with fiction, editorial, translation, and writing research papers and critical literary career jamalzade forms. To show his theosophical world, mevlana mostly used metaphoric concepts. Feeding is one of the most commonly used concept in Divan e-Shams for showing all the materialistic and spiritual realms and other family words helped the poet to reflect these concepts. Life of Sofia and attention to reduce feeding, esurience, fasting and avoiding businesses and valuing the trust theory caused unconscious adoption of such metaphor for mevlana. Accordingly, the eight categories of beauty, wisdom, mystery, citation, hearing(samaa’), joy, love and light as a feed can be explained. In this paper, using the metaphor of contemporary cognitive theory to explain this metaphor will be discussed. Finally, it is clear that the notion of "Feed mysticism" the fundamental proposition of text feed a metaphorical thinking that he has released over the Divan-e Shams. 1487 yadolahi shahrah roya 1 12 2013 6 24 169 198 30 05 2013 05 10 2013 A Study about the evolution of Vahhab's Character in the context of love in Khane-ye Edrisiha Based on Joseph Campbell's Theory of Hero's Journey Khane-ye Edrisiha, the symbolic novel by Ghazaleh Alizadeh, has good potentials for symbolic reading. One of the appropriate methods to comprehend this symbolic structure is an analysis based on "Hero's Journey" that Joseph Campbell suggests. the present research aims to show how the scheme of evolution at the context of love for Vahhab, one of the main characters of the novel, adapts with "Hero's Journey" pattern. This adaptation shows itself through analyzing the novel. This pattern doesn’t apply to the novel only in these stages: Atonement with the Father and the stages that come after the Magic Flight. The omission of the latter stages depends on the general plot of the novel and the writer's decision for the ending section, but the omission of Atonement with the Father stage and almost deletion of Vahab's father in this novel is an important and significant issue that needs another psychosocial study. This book covers 7069 entries and the bibliographic information of 14,046 books from the time of Constitutional Movement to 2010. Regarding the reputation of the publisher in publishing reference books, this book was expected to be free of errors (especially egregious errors must have been avoided); however, against all expectations, it turned out that the book was loaded with all kinds of errors and shortcomings to the extreme that the publisher later prepared an errata in the spring of 2012 titled Mostadrak which was launched with the book. Unfortunately, despite showing a lot of errors of the book, the errata itself suffered from other shortcomings and mistakes. We show some mistakes of both sources here and thus avoid the viewers of bibliography from being 6400 A Review of "Discourse Analysis of Imposed War Memories; case study of Da Memory" Ghaffary Mohammad m m Shiraz University 1 12 2013 6 24 215 221 12 08 2013 13 08 2013 The essay "Discourse Analysis of Imposed War Memories; case study of Da Memory" by Mohammad Reza Javadi Yeganeh and Seyyed Mohammad Ali Sohofi has had the potential for becoming a good and acceptable essay because it adopts a new approach to a controversial text that has bot been analyzed from such viewpoints yet. However, this potential has not been realized. As it is mentioned in the "Introduction" of the essay, the primary objective of the researchers has been to examine the discourse of Da based on Norman Fairclough's model of critical discourse analysis and with regard to the way gender roles are represented in this text. Nevertheless, and this is the weak point of the essay, the authors do not fulfill what they promise at the beginning of their writing, and the result is not "critical discourse analysis" but a simple analysis that at best appears silimilar to Feminist or gender criticism.
